Carbohydrates are required by the body to keep us energetic. Low carbs diet doesn’t mean you not taking carbohydrates at all. You should know about bad and good carbohydrates because not all carbs are fattening. Good carbs are rich in vitamins and nutrients, and also high in fiber. Fruits, vegetables, whole grains and legumes are the unprocessed foods with good carbs. Bad carbs will only give you overload calories and usually came from processed foods like cookies, potato chips, soft drinks or candy which have no nutritional value.
Make a diary and list of your food menu. Making a list will help you see the diet that works for you. Make known yourself with the carbohydrates count of every food that you eat. Keep a diary of your daily weight and your carbohydrate intake. The important thing to know the success of your low carbs diet is monitoring your progress and your carbs intake.
