The Importance of Sugar Busters Diet Plan

The sugar busters diet plan is conducted by cutting sugar to trim unnecessary fat so that people can live and appear slim and most importantly, healthily. The diet is done by keeping the balance the percentage of the food to be in 40% calories that come from high fiber, low glycemic carbohydrates, 30% from protein, and 30% from unsaturated fat.

There are some foods that are forbidden and acceptable to be consumed while people conduct the sugar busters diet plan. This has to do with the amount of carbohydrates containing in the food. The first, the food containing carbohydrates that is forbidden are white breads, including bread containing white flour in it; white rice, white flour, white sugar. Some other products that are added with sugar, such as jellies or jams, fruits with high gycemic, such as bananas, raisins, and pineapple; most root vegetables, such as potatoes, beets, and parnsnips.

The acceptable source of carbohydrates in the sugar busters diet plan is mostly fruits and vegetables that are not mentioned in the type of the forbidden ones. The consumption of whole grain products and low fat dairy products are also acceptable as long as they are not added with sugar. The consumption of meat and fish is also to be done more carefully, by trimming fats from those meats and fish. Alternatively, people conducting the sugar busters diet plan can also consume whole eggs.

The desserts and appetites cannot be ignored as the common consumption. On the sugar busters diet plan, the issue is stressed in the consumption of alcohol and caffeine. The taking of a glass of alcoholic beverages with a meal is fine, but it should be noted that beer is forbidden. The caffeine should be reduced to 2 or 3 cups per day, and it is even better to be less.
